When owners Steve and Brigette Graham started MODO 15 years ago their singular goal was to provide Hamilton with a high quality hairdressing brand you can trust.

In order to gain and maintain trust Steve and Brigette took steps to build a team of experts capable of consistently providing clients with the highest standards of hairdressing excellence.

When excellence is a minimum standard it requires a commitment to high level training, there are no shortcuts, it takes time to become an expert.

As an expert precision haircutter himself, Steve has trained and mentored many successful stylists over the years. He knows the value of time spent training and perfecting a craft, that’s why MODO employs and trains stylists who have a long-term career focus in the industry.

COVID 19 ALERT LEVEL 2 HEALTH AND SAFETY PROTOCOLS

MODO has specific protocols, outlined below, which are in line with NZ Ministry of Health directives.

To Stop the Spread

Re-schedule your appointment if you have any symptoms consistent with Covid-19.
For contact tracing purposes scan the QR code on the front door before entering the premises.
If you don’t have the Contact Tracer app you are required to sign the register.
All clients are required to wear a mask whilst on the premises. If your mask is not suitable to wear whist having your hair service, you can purchase a disposable one for $1
Refusal to wear a mask will result in the cancellation of your appointment.
All Stylists will be wearing masks.
Please come to your appointment alone, sorry no children in salon during Level 2

Health and Hygiene Protocols

Use the HAND SANITISER provided upon entering the premises.
Wash and dry your hands thoroughly after coughing, sneezing and eating.
Sanitize the bathroom using the disinfectant spray provided after use.
All contact areas are disinfected after use.
All capes, towels and hairdressing tools are disinfected and washed after each use.
Water will be served in single use cups.
Any MODO staff member with symptoms consistent with Covid-19 will take leave from work until they return a negative Covid-19 test and are symptom free.
MODO staff practice stringent hygiene and cleaning protocols throughout the day.
The Team at MODO wishes to re-assure you that you are in a safe and clean environment.

Your booking is only confirmed once you have received an approval email from us, we will be in touch if your requested time needs to be adjusted. If you cannot find your desired time or service, contact the salon as we may be able to find a time that the computer cannot. Deposits are non-refundable within 48hrs of cancelling or changing appointment. Thank you!

Steve has owned and operated several successful salons, MODO Hair Design being the latest. Steve has developed a team of top haircutters and colourists which puts MODO at the forefront of hairdressing in Hamilton. Steve’s background is in precision cutting, working and training alongside Sassoon trained stylists from the UK. This technical and creative base has given Steve the knowledge and ability to train his own team to the highest technical standards.
