La Biosthetique Colour With Care Initiative

Colour with Care is a La Biosthetique initiative where every tube of colour sold will raise money fo the global non-for-profit organization Medicines Sans Frontiers, Doctors Without Borders. This means every time you have you hair coloured with MODO you will be helping to provide critical support in areas that need it most, whether it is:

• Stopping the spread of infectious diseases
• Giving malnourished children access to essential meals
• Providing medical aid to those in disaster struck areas

Simply by visiting MODO for your hair service, each colour you have done will be making a difference, without making a change to your colour service.

Every colour provides the equivalent of 4 malaria diagnostic kits.

Every month MODO could provide over 100 meals for children.

Every year over 1,200 meals will be funded by MODO simply by using La Biosthetique.

To date MODO has contributed the equivalent of 668 emergency nutrition packs.

Kerasilk Control Service

Long lasting transformation from unmanageable and frizzy hair into smooth and controlled hair lasting up to 3 – 5 months. Dedicated to the individual texture of the hair, the Kerasilk Control Service delivers highly predictable results for solutions that are customised to the individuals needs.

Kerasilk De-Frizz Service

Short-term transformation of unruly hair into frizz-controlled hair that lasts up to 4 -6 weeks. The Kerasilk De-Frizz Service controls frizz whilst maintaining all of the hairs natural shape

GHD Hair is an iconic brand that has been revolutionising hair styling since 2001. As a brand and portfolio of tools, it has established itself as the global market leader in hair styling products. With the respect and loyalty of devoted stylists, GHD quickly developed a high quality status worldwide. A monthly trip to the salon was no longer the only way to have a good hair day – everyday could be a good hair day.

COVID 19 ALERT LEVEL 2 HEALTH AND SAFETY PROTOCOLS

MODO has specific protocols, outlined below, which are in line with NZ Ministry of Health directives.

To Stop the Spread

  1. Re-schedule your appointment if you have any symptoms consistent with Covid-19.
  2. For contact tracing purposes scan the QR code on the front door before entering the premises.
  3. If you don’t have the Contact Tracer app you are required to sign the register.
  4. All clients are required to wear a mask whilst on the premises. If your mask is not suitable to wear whist having your hair service, you can purchase a disposable one for $1
  5. Refusal to wear a mask will result in the cancellation of your appointment.
  6. All Stylists will be wearing masks.
  7. Please come to your appointment alone, sorry no children in salon during Level 2

Health and Hygiene Protocols

  1. Use the HAND SANITISER provided upon entering the premises.
  2. Wash and dry your hands thoroughly after coughing, sneezing and eating.
  3. Sanitize the bathroom using the disinfectant spray provided after use.
  4. All contact areas are disinfected after use.
  5. All capes, towels and hairdressing tools are disinfected and washed after each use.
  6. Water will be served in single use cups.
  7. Any MODO staff member with symptoms consistent with Covid-19 will take leave from work until they return a negative Covid-19 test and are symptom free.
  8. MODO staff practice stringent hygiene and cleaning protocols throughout the day.
  9. The Team at MODO wishes to re-assure you that you are in a safe and clean environment.

Owner/Managing Director

Steve has owned and operated several successful salons, MODO Hair Design being the latest. Steve has developed a team of top haircutters and colourists which puts MODO at the forefront of hairdressing in Hamilton. Steve’s background is in precision cutting, working and training alongside Sassoon trained stylists from the UK. This technical and creative base has given Steve the knowledge and ability to train his own team to the highest technical standards.
